At the helm of MetaEngine's transformation, I led the charge in reimagining a 20-year-old cloud game engine for the future of online experiences. We modernized legacy systems by integrating AI and blockchain technologies and expanded the engine's capabilities to support today's most advanced 3D creation tools. This initiative transitioned our infrastructure from AWS to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and made MetaEngine a cornerstone for developers building expansive, immersive virtual worlds.

Spearheaded the comprehensive upgrade of MetaEngine, transforming an aged technology into a cutting-edge platform. This included migrating to GCP for enhanced scalability and updating codebases for compatibility with leading 3D tools, ensuring creators have the freedom to bring their most ambitious visions to life.
Seamless Creation Across Platforms
By establishing pipelines for Unity and Unreal Engine integration, MetaEngine now serves as a network engine that bridges the gap between diverse development environments. This breakthrough allows for seamless collaboration and the development of massively multiplayer online experiences, empowering creators like never before.
The engine is behind two of the most prominent MMORPG licenses ever created – Star Wars: The Old Republic and Elder Scrolls: Online. Even though I wasn’t part of the team when these games were made, it was an absolute honor to have the chance to work on such an impactful game engine.
